"On Sunday at 1:00, we join members of the Maryland wine industry in loading wine from the shore of Terrapin Park onto the skipjack Martha Lewis for delivery to Havre de Graace. The wine is made from grapes delivered by the Msartha Lewis last Fall from a waterfront vineyard in Havre de Grace. The skipjack's journey celebrated the historic tradition of transporting agricultural goods on the Chesapeake Bay via the classic sailing vessel."

The Bay Times, April 2, 2008
"Many different wines are produced in Maryland and the event is designed to give festival-goers the opportunity to sample them. In addition to wine, the festival will feature food with a Chesapeake Bay flare from local vendors, arts and crafts, band music, and events specifically geared toward children. There will also be exhibits and demonstrations of grape growing and wine production."
